Description : Körtik Tepe is an early Neolithic archaeological site located in eastern Turkey near Batman . It is occupied from around 10400 to 9250 BC. AD In the Levantine chronology to which the site is attached in the absence of local periodization, this corresponds to the end of the late Natufian and the pre-ceramic Neolithic A (PPNA), therefore the period of expansion of sedentary villages. , by communities of hunter-gatherers who undoubtedly also conducted their first agricultural experiments.
